I don’t know how you found me but I’m glad you did. Because you need help – I know that. And I can give you that help. And I want to give you that help – if you’ll let me.

You need help because you’re scared. Or nervous. Or anxious. That’s the thing – it isn’t important what you call it, it’s how it makes you feel that matters. And how it makes you feel – well that’s something you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy.

Maybe you can’t remember a time when you didn’t feel like this. Or maybe it just started recently and you can pinpoint exactly when. But you want it to go away. You want it to stop following you around, creeping up on you when you least expect it. You want it to stop making you miserable, keeping you prisoner, controlling you. You don’t want to have to pretend any more – you don’t want to put all that energy into acting like nothing’s wrong because someone else noticing would be the worst thing in the world.

And you just want to feel different. You want to feel safe.

I’m guessing you’ve tried all sorts of things. You’ve done breathing exercises. You’ve read up about the way you feel and how to combat it. You’ve tried to brazen it out and tackle it head on – fake it ’till you make it. Maybe you’ve even seen a doctor. But it’s still there, following you around, just waiting for its change to swallow you up. You don’t want to believe that life will always be like this but you’re starting to feel that way.
