Who is Headworks Hypnotherapy?
My name is Nigel Szczepaniak. I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist and proprietor of Headworks Hypnotherapy.
As a child I lived in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. When I was 18 I went to the University of Bath to study Pharmacy. Three years later, I moved back to Mansfield with my degree and started the practical training needed to qualify as a Pharmacist.
I worked at a large District General Hospital for 12 years then left to work in a town centre Pharmacy. Eventually I managed to buy my own Pharmacy in a small Nottinghamshire village. I became known as reliable and approachable and built up good relationships with staff and patients of the local Medical Practice.
From 1995 to 2010 I volunteered with the Samaritans, and spent a period as a Branch Director. This taught me how quiet listening and gentle questioning can help people with personal difficulties. I use these skills in my Hypnotherapy practice to help you make the changes you want.
For most of my adult life I have been interested in Hypnotherapy and the workings of the human mind. I wanted to find out more and decided I wanted to train as a Hypnotherapist. This led me to the prestigious Motivation Training run by Matthew Ferguson. I gained a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and NLP Coaching. I am now registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.
My home now is in Berwick upon Tweed, Northumberland. I share it with my partner and our two black labradors. I still work part-time as a Pharmacist while also running Headworks.
